What is Functional Training?
Functional fitness exercises are designed to train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks that you might perform at home, work or playing sports. Because you’ll be using muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional training also accentuates core stability.
It’s a perfect way for beginners to learn how to move, or more advanced gym goers to push themselves to their limit.
It’s your workout so you push yourself to your limit in a safe, supportive and friendly environment!

One of the hardest things about getting fit is staying excited about your training.
With seven different styles of classes available, it doesn’t matter what your goal is – you can customise your week to get the results you want.
OUR CLASSES
The original High Intensity Interval Training system designed to work big muscle groups in short bursts.
Similar to MetaFit, MetaPWR focuses on working the big muscles but introduces equipment into the mix.
Our own special blend of body weight and equipment training. Working to longer intervals than MetaPWR, these sessions will focus on strength and endurance.
Focusing on body weights and proper technique, the 30 minute HIIT will work some of the smaller muscle groups and build lean muscle. Compliments both MetaPWR and FITAS Circuit.
Boxing for Fitness – you’ll learn th basic moves, but this is purely pad work designed for high cardio. Building on endurance and agility over the whole body, you’re guaranteed to get an arm/shoulder workout from this!
Designed for those new mums (8+ weeks post) that want to tone up and get their fitness back. A gently re-introduction back to training.

I still remember the first time I attended FITAS classes headed by Amanda and Andy last July. I focus to be physically fit this 2018 and these guys really help me achieve it in just a matter of months. I love this gym so much because they’re really focus and let you achieve the better version of yourself. All the staff and the instructors from Sophia and the power couple Andy and especially Amanda give you support and motivation in each exercise that your doing is really a big help. It doesn’t matter if your new to working out or just getting your way back to being fit – they’ll surely support you all the way! Highly recommend!
One thing I like is that both Andy and Amanda spend time ensuring that you have grasped the exercise and they are always very nurturing and supportive in your development. After just 6 weeks of sessions, I went on a long walk through some caverns, and it was really noticeable how more agile and how much fitter I was. I was able to clamber over the rocks and down ladders and up hills easily and effortlessly. Something, I know I wouldn’t have been able to have done 6 weeks prior. I feel stronger and more agile as a direct result of the sessions I have had with FITAS. I would highly recommend FITAS as your personal fitness team.
